In 2008 «Slutsk» received a professional status and in 2014 made its debut in the top divsion of the Belarusian championship. The team showed a solid display and represented it's city with dignity. It was no surpise as a number of the team's players had extensive experience in the premier leagues which allowed to take the necessary amount of points. An appropriate approach to scouting, youth players development and infrastructure development helped the club to stay at the elite level and achieve better results step by step.
